Information Security Professional Network (ISPN) is a community dedicated for information security related professionals and executives, created and managed by SecurityFirst (The XecureIT’s Education and Community Development Division).

There are many communities similar with the ISPN. Many of them are exclusive only for the specific certified professionals. Other professional communities, where everyone can join, have no validation process. Early 2008, ISPN was created to response the professional needs: having open but trusted community to increase collaboration.

Vision:
Becoming a trusted and useful community for the information security professionals.

Mission:
Increase collaboration among the ISPN members to improve virtual world security.

Members:
By October 2009, there are 142 members ISPN LinkedIn Group from various countries. Hundreds of request can not be approved due to lack of recommendation from existing members.

Activities:
The quarterly ISPN Seminar in Jakarta, Indonesia is held to share member’s knowledge and expertise and to build stronger relationship among the members.
